NEOS, the only Italian company to connect Italy with China, continues to expand its network from Malpensa to the Land of the Dragon. After Nanjing (connected with 2 direct flights per week) and Guiyang (1 flight per week), the Alpitour group company has announced the new destination Nanchang, a city in the south of China and capital of the Jiangxi province. Nanchang will be connected with 1 flight per week, on Tuesdays, operated with a Boeing787 (departure at 10:00 p.m. and arrival at 3:30 p.m.).

China is one of the reference markets for Neos. "In 2018 the total number of passengers in China was 31 thousand, while in 2019 we estimate to carry a total of 43 thousand passengers," says Aldo Sarnataro, commercial director of Neos. Today the People's Republic represents about 7-8% of the carrier's business, thanks also to the company's collaboration with Utour, one of the main Chinese operators.

Passengers are informed that starting from Monday, 16 March 2020, Milano Linate Airport and Milano Malpensa Terminal 1 will be temporarily closed. Commercial aviation traffic will be redirected to Terminal 2 of Malpensa Airport.
