NEOS and the new Chinese destination: Nanchang

NEOS, the only Italian company to connect Italy with China, continues to expand its network from Malpensa to the Land of the Dragon. After Nanjing (connected with 2 direct flights per week) and Guiyang (1 flight per week), the Alpitour group company has announced the new destination Nanchang, a city in the south of China and capital of the Jiangxi province. Nanchang will be connected with 1 flight per week, on Tuesdays, operated with a Boeing787 (departure at 10:00 p.m. and arrival at 3:30 p.m.).

China is one of the reference markets for Neos. "In 2018 the total number of passengers in China was 31 thousand, while in 2019 we estimate to carry a total of 43 thousand passengers," says Aldo Sarnataro, commercial director of Neos. Today the People's Republic represents about 7-8% of the carrier's business, thanks also to the company's collaboration with Utour, one of the main Chinese operators.
