Several connections are currently available from Milano Malpensa Airport to Southern Italy and the islands of Sardinia and Sicily with flights guaranteed by easyJetWizz Air, and Ryanair.

On October 22, Wizz Air announced 3 new routes to Naples, Brindisi, and Lamezia Terme, starting from December 2020, which will improve the already existing connection between Milan and Southern Italy. Furthermore, the frequency on the Milan Malpensa - Bari route will be increased from 7 to 11 weekly flights.

Connections between Milan and Southern Italy

You can fly to Apulia arriving in Bari with easyJet (12 flights a week), Ryanair (8 flights a week) and Wizz Air (5 connections a week) or Brindisi with easyJet (1 flight a day) and Ryanair (5 flights a week).

Naples, in Campania, may be reached with easyJet's 16 weekly flights. Finally, the connection with Calabria is made by easyJet arriving in Lamezia Terme. Flights to Lamezia are operated by easyJet, with 1 flight per day, and by Ryanair, with 11 flights per week.

Connections with Sardinia and Sicily

You can fly from Malpensa to Sardinia with Ryanair, which connects Milan and Alghero with 2 weekly flights. You may also reach Cagliari with easyJet's 3 weekly flights. Finally, connections with Olbia are also operated by easyJet with 4 flights per week.

You may also reach different destinations in Sicily: Catania with easyJet (21 flights a week), Ryanair (27 flights a week), and Wizz Air (19 connections a week), Palermo with easyJet (16 flights a week), Ryanair (22 flights a week), and Wizz Air (2 flights a day), and Comiso with Ryanair's 4 flights a week. Moreover, from December on, Alba Star will resume operations with 2 weekly flights to Trapani and 1 daily flight to Catania.
