After the end of the bridge at the end of October, which saw Malpensa successfully manage an increase in traffic in the summer months of +25%, the airport resumed its normal operations, confirming the positive trend in traffic with an 8% increase recorded in November, the 53rd consecutive month of uninterrupted growth.

At the end of the bridge, two airlines decided to continue flying from Malpensa: Blue Air with destination Bucharest and Bulgaria Air with Sofia. Moreover, the winter season inaugurated at the end of October has reserved many novelties with the opening of 8 new services (Ryanair with Manchester, easyJet with Aqaba, Agadir, Marsa Alam and Tirana, Air Italy with Tenerife, Neos with Nanchang, Pakistan Airlines with Sialkot and S7 with Moscow Domodedovo from December 25) and the increase in frequency of Kuwait Airways from 3 to 4 flights to Kuwait City. There is no shortage of news for 2020 for which 5 new destinations are already planned to be added to the MXP network, including the new long-haul flights of Eva Air, All Nippon and Gulf Air.
